"Unlikely Converts—Improbable Stories of Faith and What They Teach Us" with special guest, Randy Newman
Some of the most unlikely converts have the strongest faith stories, and they can be a source of incredible encouragement for us personally and for our efforts to share with others.
Growing up in a Jewish family, Randy Newman knows firsthand the discomfort that comes with sharing his faith journey. He's been tongue-tied and timid many times. But the truth is we don't have to be brilliant speakers or orators.
In Unlikely Converts, Randy shares surprising spiritual stories straight from those who took the long way around to faith. He considers current cultural trends that make spiritual faith more difficult today. In the end, Unlikely Converts encourages us to remember that while our faith compels us to speak, it does not require perfection, only confidence in the gospel message.
Topics to be covered:
1. What's the Good News & How Good Is It?
2. How People Come to Faith Today
3. The Power of Story
4. Obstacles in the Journey of Faith
