Spencer Brand is the founder and current President of the Endowment for Community Leadership, a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to the development of the next generation of American leadership.
Spencer graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs and has held senior positions in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Dept. of Labor and the Dept. of the Interior in Washington, D.C.
Spencer has also been a consultant and speaker for almost 50 years, serving both public and private organizations on multiple continents in the areas of leadership, strategic effectiveness and interpersonal relationships.
Spencer is married with four children and now spends much of his time serving his wife, Barbara, as she battles a serious and long-term case of Multiple Sclerosis.
At the breakfast, Spencer will share his professional and spiritual journey and describe how, in spite of hardship and adversity, we can live the best life possible.
