"BIBLICAL ETHICS—Getting Clarity in a Blurred World" with Pete Lackey, Jr.
What are biblical ethics and why does it matter? Are they objective? Do ethical dilemmas really exist and how do you approach them as a Christ-follower?
In our post-Christian world where the younger generation of Gen-Z is growing up in radically secular public schools—teaching virtually every subject where they presuppose Secular Humanism/Marxism as true and Judeo-Christian values as not only false but evil, what are we to do?
This generation and the younger Millennials are heading into the workplace demanding it become a “wokeplace”—a cauldron of activism for this worldview in every area. How are Scripture-believing, Christ-followers as employees, co-workers and leaders to respond?
In this 7-week series with presentations by Pete Lackey, we will examine:
1. Biblical Virtues—Intentions, results and applications
2. Truth—Is it knowable? (Absolutism vs. Relativism)
3. Ethical Options—Secular Humanist vs. Biblical approaches
4. Government—It’s role in our lives and our response
5. Ecology—A biblical view of man and the environment
6. Sexual Ethics—Biblical vs. Secular Humanist views and applications
7. Bioethics—Issues and Options
At the end of these sessions, you will feel better equipped, challenged and encouraged to be the man God is calling you to be.
