"LIVING THE 7 HEAVENLY VIRTUES—Being Heavenly Minded and Doing Earthly Good" with Pete Lackey, Jr.

Why should you care about "being a person of virtue"? Virtue is the quality of being "good" and comes from the Latin root vir, for man. At first virtue meant manliness or valor, but over time it settled into the sense of personal and moral excellence--qualities that lead to cultural and individual greatness.

The American culture promotes the renegade or rebel, a guy or girl who's cool, tough, rebellious or aggressive--a man or woman with extreme attitudes, behavior or appearance and who seeks after the vices of carelessness, fear, excess, injustice, uncertainty and indifference.

"Living the 7 Heavenly Virtues," with live presentations by author, Pete Lackey, Jr., will examine the seven classic virtues of fortitude, prudence, temperance, justice, faith, hope and charity, and equip you to live them out in today's corrupt and fake culture.

"Living the 7 Heavenly Virtues" will equip and empower you to live as a person of:

1. FORTITUDE and not FEAR
2. PRUDENCE and not CARELESSNESS
3. TEMPERANCE and not GLUTTONY
4. JUSTICE and not INJUSTICE
5. FAITH and not UNCERTAINTY
6. HOPE and not DESPAIR
7. CHARITY and not INDIFFERENCE.

At the end of these sessions, you will feel better equipped, challenged and encouraged to be the person God is calling you to be.

About our presenter...
Pete Lackey, Jr. is an author, speaker and IT specialist. For over 25 years Pete has worked in the technology industry where he has led small and large teams responsible for designing, building, and implementing various types of globally dispersed inter-networking solutions where cyber security is central. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Inter-networking Technology from Strayer University.

Pete also attended Southern Evangelical Seminary studying theology, apologetics, and philosophy. He served at McLean Bible Church for over twenty years where he earned the reputation for addressing tough questions.
